The Gallatin River Ranch is a wonderful place to call home. This beautiful Montana land is located in the Horseshoe Hills of beautiful Southwest Montana. The GRR is surrounded by nine picturesque mountain ranges, the East and West Gallatin Rivers, as well as state and federal land. Nearby are several world-class ski resorts, two signature golf courses, two national parks, and an abundance of recreational opportunities with exceptional hunting and fishing.

The Gallatin River Ranch is secluded but not isolated. Although the Gallatin River Ranch offers open space and an “old west” feel, the quaint little town of Manhattan, Montana is only minutes away. Bozeman, a community of 40,000 is within a half-hour drive. The Gallatin Field (BZN) airport is only a twenty-minute drive from the Gallatin River Ranch with non-stop service to many major cities. Residents have easy access to multi-cultural events through Montana State University, local art and craft galleries, world-class Museum of the Rockies, and fine dining at local gourmet restaurants. Lifestyle necessities such as: gasoline, groceries, fine schools, shopping, and medical care are readily available.

Our unique Gallatin River Ranch stretches along the celebrated Gallatin River for approximately two-and-a-half miles. Today the Gallatin River, as it rolls by the Ranch, remains as Lewis & Clark might have seen it in the 1800s.

The habitat provided on Gallatin River Ranch‘s land for birds and animals is truly remarkable. This is one of the last strongholds for bald eagles, osprey, otters, weasels, mink, martin, beaver, sandhill cranes, herons and pelicans. Geese, ducks and cranes are hatched out here and are abundant in the spring and fall. Trophy-sized whitetail, mule deer and antelope abound on this unique property. Elk and even an occasional cougar might be spotted in the surrounding foothills. As remarkable as the bird and big game hunting is near the Ranch, it is equaled or surpassed by the quality and quantity of the trout. Really big trout keep our fly-fishing friends coming back for more!

The Gallatin River Ranch is the greatest “welcome home” you will ever experience!
